I have had a passion for working with children with disabilities since I was a young child. Volunteering in a center for children with brain damage at age twelve sparked my enthusiasm that still continues today. I always knew I wanted to be working in the field of Special Education. I received my Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Ashland University in Ohio in 1980 and my Masters of Education from Miami University in 1992.

I have been an Early Intervention Specialist working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays for the past 23 years. Working with the families of babies with special needs is my passion. I cannot wait to go to work everyday. I enjoy teaching classes related to Early Intervention to graduate and undergraduate students at Miami University in Oxford Ohio.
